This is one of the oldest town bands in America. Established in 1831, (WOW!) the band plays for most community events such as the Memorial Day Parade, the Fourth of July Celebration, and the annual Sidewalk Sale. There are no dues and no one gets paid. Most members played in high school and/or college. A few started playing after retirement, and several are professional musicians who just like to play traditional town band music.
