Mark Hausman began performing in high school on the trumpet. Performing for 4 years with New Jersey's All State Band, he went on to Connecticut's own Hartt School of Music on a full scholarship. In 1972 while at his second year at Hartt, Mark performed in the  Hartford Symphony, and became their principle trumpet in 1984. He has performed with several musicians and entertainers such as Itzack Perlman and Phyllis Diller. Five years ago, while strolling through the Brimfield Flea Market he purchased a tarnished baritone horn. This treasure set his musical talents soaring and has become an outstanding Euphonium musician frequently bringing audiences to their feet in appreciation of his musical talent.
