AWARDS: Recipient of the Greater New Britain Arts Alliance Grant in 2008. Was awarded The Herald's "People's Choice Award for Best Live Music" in July 2005.

NOTABLE: Performed with such artists as Keith Brion, Greg Caputo, Karen Hodge, Mark McNally, Fran Wall, John Philip Sousa IV, Dr. Daniel D'Addio, the Bristol Choral Society and Harmonious Brass.

EVENTS: The Plainville Wind Ensemble hosted The Second John Philip Sousa Festival of Bands in June of 2007, with guest host John Philip Sousa IV. We have performed in numerous locations throughout Connecticut, such as Lake Compounce in Bristol, Central Connecticut State University Welte Hall, Southington Off The Green, Bristol Mums Concert, Plymouth Green, Westfield Works Wonders Night, and we even took a trip to the Lake George Festival in 2007!
